WE CAN CHANGE

I will use a range of therapeutic modalities in our work together, depending on the nature of what you are bringing to therapy. My goal is help you gain greater understanding of how you are in the world, to facilitate transformational change and allow you to discover a new way of being.

I am a Graduate of 3 years training in Hakomi Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychotherapy.

Hakomi is a powerful transformative therapy that works from a mindful space, holding curiosity about our internal world including our body sensations, urges, thoughts, feelings, memories and beliefs.

By working with the whole system, we can begin to see how

what we have experienced in the past has shaped us, enabling true change to occur.

I am trained in the Innate Somatic Intelligence Trauma Therapy Approach (ISITTA).

This approach works with the Autonomous Nervous System to somatically re-program

where it has become stuck when experiencing trauma, facilitating release.

 

To compliment this, I have also completed training in all levels of

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).​

 

I originally trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) a treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder.

DBT is highly effective in gaining greater understanding and management of emotional outbursts,

providing skills to enable more effective interpersonal communication

and ways to increase your capacity to tolerate distress.

DBT develops higher levels of self awareness, creating more choices and allowing you to feel more in control.


I am comfortable working with people who identify as culturally and linguistically diverse and LGBTIQA+.

I can offer therapy sessions face to face from my private practice in Daylesford Victoria,

or remotely by video conference or phone.
